Catholic women's social service marks 120 years in Munich

Health

Munich's deputy mayor Verena Dietl will deliver the city's congratulations on the 120th anniversary of the Sozialdienst katholischer Frauen (SkF) München e.V. at the organisation's headquarters at Dachauer Straße 48 on 21 September at 5pm.

The association was founded in 1906 as the "Catholic Welfare Association for Girls, Women and Children". Today it employs around 470 paid staff and works with 280 volunteers across more than 40 specialist services, facilities and projects.

The SkF is a long-standing partner of the city of Munich in several fields, in particular services for children and young people, support for homeless people and work with offenders.

Journalists planning to attend are asked to register by email at [email protected].
