Munich to follow Olympic bid decision at the Old Town Hall
Supporters from politics, business and sport will gather at the Old Town Hall on Marienplatz 15 on 26 September from midday to follow the National Olympic Committee's decision on the German candidacy for the Summer Olympic Games.
The sports mayor, Verena Dietl, has issued the invitation. At around 1pm she will welcome guests together with the state secretary for the interior, Sandro Kirchner, and a representative of the Bavarian State Sports Association.
The broadcast from Baden-Baden, where the decision is being taken, begins at 1.45pm. A live link-up with the lord mayor, Dominik Krause, is planned for around 2.55pm.
Access for media representatives is only possible with accreditation. Requests should be sent by email to [email protected] by Thursday, 24 September, at midday. A mixed zone will be available for interviews.
