Steel goes up at Darlington government hub site
Politics
Work on a new Civil Service office building in Darlington has reached a significant stage, with around 800 tonnes of steel now being installed at the Brunswick Street site.
The Government Property Agency (GPA), which is delivering the scheme, said the steel will form the frame of the building. Installation is due to be completed in October this year.
Once finished, the Brunswick Street Government Hub will become the permanent home of the Darlington Economic Campus.
Further details of the announcement have been published on the GPA website.
