Crime in Longlands and Beechwood: 743 offences recorded in July 2026
743 crimes were recorded in and around Longlands and Beechwood in July 2026, according to figures published by Cleveland Police. That is up by 67 on the 676 recorded the month before.
The most common reports were:
Violent crime: 253 reports (34% of the total) Shoplifting: 115 reports (15% of the total) Criminal damage arson: 81 reports (11% of the total) Public order: 67 reports (9% of the total) Anti social behaviour: 63 reports (8% of the total)
Figures cover crimes recorded within roughly a mile of the neighbourhood centre and are published about two months in arrears. Police record a crime at the nearest anonymised map point rather than an exact address, so street-level counts are approximate.
