Crime in Stainton and Thornton: 185 offences recorded in July 2026
185 crimes were recorded in and around Stainton and Thornton in July 2026, according to figures published by Cleveland Police. That is down by 8 on the 193 recorded the month before.
The most common reports were:
Violent crime: 60 reports (32% of the total) Anti social behaviour: 36 reports (19% of the total) Criminal damage arson: 24 reports (13% of the total) Public order: 17 reports (9% of the total) Drugs: 13 reports (7% of the total)
