Crime in Blyth: 266 offences recorded in July 2026

266 crimes were recorded in and around Blyth in July 2026, according to figures published by Northumbria Police. That is up by 34 on the 232 recorded the month before.

The most common reports were:

Violent crime: 64 reports (24% of the total) Shoplifting: 58 reports (22% of the total) Anti social behaviour: 48 reports (18% of the total) Criminal damage arson: 30 reports (11% of the total) Public order: 15 reports (6% of the total)
