Crime in Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree: 311 offences recorded in July 2026
311 crimes were recorded in and around Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree in July 2026, according to figures published by Cleveland Police. That is up by 51 on the 260 recorded the month before.
The most common reports were:
Violent crime: 88 reports (28% of the total) Shoplifting: 44 reports (14% of the total) Criminal damage arson: 39 reports (13% of the total) Anti social behaviour: 34 reports (11% of the total) Public order: 24 reports (8% of the total)
